Julie Berbiglia visits Cedars of Lebanon State Park to find a plant palette suited for the task. We head to Long Hungry Creek Farm where Jeff Poppen mixes up a batch of barrel compost. Then Troy Marden and Phillipe Chadwick talk about the revision to the U.S. Hardiness Zone map and how that increases the perennials that will thrive.

The annual Summer Celebration at West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center is Thursday, July 14, 2016 with the theme Garden of Eatin’. The $5 adult admission includes Garden Talks, Garden Speakers, Vendors and a plant sale.
