Instant Berry Granita
- 2 pints fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries or strawberries)
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup superfine sugar
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 TBSP liqueur (optional)
- Freeze berries in a single layer on a baking sheet and keep frozen until ready to make granita.
- Put frozen berries in a food processor. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
