- 1 can (15.5-ounce) garbanzo beans, drained
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- dash of hot sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- parsley sprigs for garnish
- Process first 6 ingredients in a food processor until smooth, scraping down the sides. Slowly pour olive oil into mixture, processing until smooth.
- Spoon into serving bowl, cover and chill. Garnish with parsley sprigs and serve with crackers.
