Basil Butter


  • fresh basil leaves, chopped (to equal 1/2 cup)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened


  1. Mix basil thoroughly with butter. Shape into a ball and place on a garnished saucer. Chill.
  2. Serving suggestion: Serve with sliced corned beef, ham and biscuits, or crackers.

Yield: Equivalent of one stick of butter
