- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
- 3/4 cup sweet white wine
- 6 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- Combine water, sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; add wine.
- Pour marinade over peaches in a glass bowl. Cover and chill several hours before serving.
