We visit the McGruder Community Garden in North Nashville where neighbors grow healthy food, and enjoy learning together. We hear about how the history of this productive space, and how it works now to meet the needs of the community.

In 2014, the Nashville Food Project began a partnership with McGruder Family Resource Center to increase community participation. Hundreds of community members and volunteer groups have since worked together to support and maintain the garden and fruit orchard.
