Gardener Extras
- Sorrel can be used in salads, stir-fries, marinades, soups, and casseroles.
- Horseradish is in the Brassica plant family along with broccoli, cabbage and kale. Harvest in a month ending in R, after a hard frost has occurred.
- The Herb Society of Nashville proudly maintains two public gardens, one at Cheekwood Estate and Gardens and another at Centennial Park.
