Growing Cherry Tomatoes for Market

Bloomsbury Farm in Smyrna TN uses mulched leaves as compost to improve the soil structure. They use the Florida weave trellising system for some varieties, while with others the Lower and Lean Method is used.

Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, near Nashville Tennessee, is certified a Level III arboretum. Host April Moore tours the grounds to spotlight some grand specimens with beautiful autumn color. The arboretum boasts nearly 100 trees, including 6 nearly 200 year old cedar trees, 19 species of oak trees, and 5 species of hickory trees.

Getting a Garden with the house

Annette Shrader visits with a new gardener who got the bonus of a sloped backyard with terraced garden beds at the home she purchased. The space had been lovingly designed, complete with stone walls and a collection of trees, by a gardener who lived there for decades. The beauty of it is appreciated by the current owner as she maintains it and adds new interest.
