We visit with Nashville Grown where the enthusiasm for their mission is infectious. This thriving non-profit is a food hub aggregating and distributing local food and farm products to the wholesale market.

  1. Only 0.36% of Davidson County TN farmland is still used to farm fruits or vegetables.
  2. Due to industrial agribusiness which cultivated the same few high-yield crops bred for fast maturation. 75% of genetic diversity in crops was lost.
  3. Nashville Grown aggregates produce and farm product from about a 100 mile radius.
