  1. AGAVE ovatifolia is the variety that has been performing well in U.S. Hardiness Zone 7A.
  2. Lobelia siphilitica (Great blue lobelia) is extremely hardy, low care, and fairly pest and disease-free. Tends to be short-lived, although it may self-seed in ideal growing conditions without becoming invasive.
  3. Moss varieties featured in the indoor garden include Plagiomium, Thuidium, and Climacium.
  4. Agave ovatifolia (White Tongue Agave) attracts hummingbirds and birds, but is deer resistant. Easily grown in well-drained soils in full sun to light shade.
