Brown Buttered Corn


  • 2 TBSP unsalted butter
  • 3 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper


  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Let it foam and brown in the skillet without stirring, about 4 to 5 minutes. When the butter is brown, add the corn, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook 4 minutes longer, stirring constantly until the corn is tender. Serve warm.

Yield: 4 servings
